Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ClipRender ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Service.
ClipRender reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Description of Service
ClipRender is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that combines AI-powered asset cataloging with automated video editing into a single, programmable pipeline. The Service includes:
- An intelligent, searchable asset library powered by AI analysis
- Automated video generation from scripts with AI-driven scene planning
- Cloud-based rendering infrastructure
- A programmatic API for developers and AI agents
- An MCP server for AI assistant integration
- Customizable editing rules for controlling video output
The Service is currently in pre-launch development. Features described on our website represent planned functionality and may change before and after launch.
3. Presale Terms
During the presale period, ClipRender offers a presale package at $149 (one-time payment). This presale purchase entitles the buyer to 6 months of Pro plan usage limits, which will begin on the date ClipRender officially launches (estimated Q2 2026).
The presale offer includes:
- 6 months of Pro plan usage limits starting at launch (valued at $594 at the standard monthly rate of $99/month)
- Full access to all Pro-tier features, including API access, up to 5 concurrent renders, and 15 test renders per month
- Priority onboarding and support during the initial launch period
If ClipRender does not launch within 12 months of your presale purchase date, you are entitled to a full refund. See our Refund Policy for details.
4. User Accounts
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.
ClipRender reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
5. Payment Terms
Presale purchases are processed as one-time payments through Stripe, our payment processor. All prices are listed in US dollars (USD).
After launch, the Service will operate on a subscription basis with the following tiers:
- Free: Limited access with basic features
- Starter ($49/month or $39/month billed annually): Full dashboard access
- Pro ($99/month or $79/month billed annually): Dashboard and API access
- Business ($299/month or $239/month billed annually): Enhanced limits and priority support
- Enterprise: Custom pricing and dedicated support
Subscription fees are billed at the beginning of each billing cycle. Usage that exceeds your plan limits may incur overage charges as described in your plan details.
Boost Packs (additional render minutes) may be purchased separately. Boost Pack minutes are consumed before overage billing applies.
6. Refund Policy
Presale purchases are eligible for a full refund if ClipRender does not launch within 12 months of your purchase date. After launch, a standard 14-day refund policy applies to subscription payments. For full details, please see our Refund Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
The ClipRender platform, including its software, design, logos, trademarks, and documentation, is the intellectual property of ClipRender and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain full ownership of all content you upload to, create with, or generate through the Service, including video outputs, assets, and editing rule configurations. ClipRender does not claim any ownership rights over your content.
You grant ClipRender a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Upload, store, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Upload content that exploits minors in any way
- Use the Service for any form of automated scraping, data extraction, or competitive intelligence gathering
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClipRender and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
ClipRender's total aggregate liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to ClipRender in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. ClipRender makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service's availability, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team or through your account settings. Upon termination:
- Your access to the Service will be revoked
- Your uploaded content will be retained for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted
- Any unused presale benefits or subscription time will be forfeited unless a refund is applicable under our Refund Policy
ClipRender may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Service or its users.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, unless you are located in a jurisdiction where arbitration clauses are unenforceable, in which case disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
