Refund Policy
We want you to feel confident about your purchase. This Refund Policy outlines when and how you can request a refund from ClipRender.
1. Presale Refund Guarantee
If ClipRender does not launch within 12 months of your presale purchase date, you are entitled to a full refund of the $149 presale amount.
No questions asked. No conditions. Your payment will be refunded in full to your original payment method.
The presale package ($149 for 6 months of Pro plan usage limits upon launch) represents a commitment from us to deliver the product. If we do not meet that commitment within a reasonable timeframe, you should not bear the cost.
Additionally, if you change your mind about your presale purchase for any reason before ClipRender launches, you may request a refund at any time during the pre-launch period. We believe in the value of what we are building and would rather refund a hesitant customer than keep an unsatisfied one.
2. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, you can use any of the following methods:
- Email: Send a refund request to support@cliprender.io with your account email and purchase details
- Reply to any ClipRender email: Simply reply to any transactional or marketing email you have received from us with the word "refund" and we will process your request
Please include the email address associated with your ClipRender account so we can locate your purchase quickly.
3. Refund Processing
Once your refund request is approved:
- Refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days
- The refund will be credited to the original credit card or payment method used for the purchase
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been issued
- Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 5 to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement
4. Post-Launch Refunds
After ClipRender officially launches, the following refund policy applies to subscription payments:
- 14-day refund window: New subscription purchases (first-time subscribers) are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of the initial payment, provided you have not exceeded 50% of your plan's monthly render minute allocation
- Renewal payments: Subscription renewals (monthly or annual) are not eligible for refunds, as the renewal occurs at the beginning of each billing cycle. You can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges
- Boost Packs: Boost Pack purchases (additional render minutes) are non-refundable once any minutes from the pack have been consumed. Unused, unconsumed Boost Packs may be refunded within 14 days of purchase
- Annual subscriptions: If you cancel an annual subscription within 14 days of the initial purchase, you will receive a full refund. After the 14-day window, annual subscriptions are non-refundable but remain active through the end of the paid period
5. Exceptions
Refunds may not be issued in the following cases:
- Accounts terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service (e.g., abusive use, fraudulent activity)
- Chargebacks initiated through your bank without first contacting our support team (we ask that you reach out to us directly before disputing a charge)
